Of Water and Spirits
My mysterious temporary neighbor played a documentary for us to watch at one of our parking lot projector parties during the pandemic and then said these words out loud to no one in particular, “Why would anyone be a documentary photographer or a filmmaker? It’s like spending your entire life documenting others’ lives instead of living your own.”
